When he was 17, a family friend and researcher was working in the lab of a drug discovery by pharmaceutical company Merck. He discovered that a drug he thought might work better for his heartburn was being called Celebrex. He had been studying its ability to relieve pain in people with arthritis, and it was now proving effective in treating heartburn.
Merck had developed the drug for a disease called ulcers. Ulcers, also known as stomach ulcers, are painful and can cause the stomach to heal in just a few days. Celebrex is the only drug known to help people heal their ulcers completely. But the drug's maker, Merck, had problems with the ulcers that were being treated by the same drug for heartburn. Now Merck is trying to find a way to make Celebrex cheaper, and in doing so it is finding that the drug is not working as well.
The company has had trouble finding ways to make Celebrex cheaper, and Merck has now tried a number of ways to make it more effective. The company has been testing new formulations of the drug and has been able to get the drug to work in the treatment of people with ulcers. Now Merck is trying to get the drug more expensive, but because it is not working as well as Merck's own drug, it cannot make the drug more effective.
The problem is that if Merck can make Celebrex cheaper, it will have to pay full price for the drug. The drug manufacturer will have to pay the full price. So Merck has come up with a cheaper alternative to Celebrex. The company is hoping that the drug manufacturer will make a drug for people with ulcers that will work better.
There are so many other ways to make Celebrex cheaper that it may not even work as well as Merck's own drug. If Merck can make Celebrex cheaper, it will have to pay full price for the drug. And if Merck can make Celebrex cheaper, the company will have to pay full price. But because it is not making Celebrex as well as Merck's own drug, it is not going to make Celebrex more effective. And if Merck is able to make Celebrex as well as Celebrex, it will have to pay full price for the drug.
